Service Description
Rachel qualified as MenoYoga teacher with Sally Parkes Yoga, which covers yoga and wellbeing for Menopause, we have run several Menopause events at Treetops now and this is a great evening to help with your yoga practice and this current phase of your life. This class will help with understanding the peri and menopause and how to adapt your yoga practice to benefit you during this transitional time. Learn which poses and types of breath work can help you and enjoy this 2 hour supportive workshop. Yoga is really beneficial in giving us tools to manage both the mental and physical changes during the peri and menopause years. We can build strength in both our bodies and minds and learn ways to cope with the list of symptoms we can struggles with such as temperature disregulation, joint pain, changes in sleep, anxiety, low mood etc If you've practiced yoga before but now find certain poses give you problems such as achey knees or sore elbows, as these areas become more vulnerable, fear not - there are some great adaptations and new poses that you can try. Oestrogen has a lot to answer for! As it drops it affects our whole body from our strength, flexibility and adaptability found within our muscles, bones, ligaments and tendons (this is why I love Yin, for its amazing benefits) so we need to find new ways to enjoy Yoga and start to increase our weight bearing exercises using our bodies.

Due to our classes being held for small numbers we are unable to offer refunds should you decide to cancel or are unable to attend your class. Obviously if the class has a waiting list and we are able to fill your place, you will be sent a refund.
