We will be using a limited palette of colours for this online watercolour workshop, using only colours from the red and blue spectrum, no yellow.
Looking at out of focus distant blossoms, working towards painting the foreground with clearly shaped light pink flowers with dark pink centres and long stamens. The leaves are painted during the wet in wet stage of the first wash and the branches are subtly painted sneaking in between the blossom, ensuring they don’t dominate the painting, leaving the delicate petals to take centre stage.
