Explore the art of gelli printing with Sarah Gordon, create layered, textural prints using pressed seaweeds, beach-combing treasures and other botanical materials in this playful, hands-on workshop. Explore positive and negative space, experiment with ghost prints and stencils, and make the most of the unique textures in fossils, shells, and pottery fragments. Inspired by the shoreline, you’ll build beautiful compositions that capture the essence of coast and nature. Perfect for beginners and experienced creatives this workshop invites you to slow down, look closely, and respond intuitively to the shapes and materials you gather fron the land and sea. You'll leave with a beautiful collection of prints and new techniques to inspire your own printmaking practice. All materials provided – bring your own beach or botanical finds if you wish!
