Meet the Tutors
 |
Vanessa Miller
Vanessa trained at Leith's School of Food and Wine. Her career
has covered catering at 10 and 11 Downing Street and The Foreign
Office, cooking at The National Gallery Restaurant and working as a
location chef to the film industry before setting up Top Nosh
Cuisine in 1988. As well as running a busy catering company, Vanessa
worked as Christie's Executive Director's Head Cook, where guests
regularly included Royalty, ambassadors and celebrities.Now based
in Berkshire, Vanessa combines her time catering at events large and
small, running classes at Treetops and appearing in the Food Theatre
at the Ideal Home Show. Vanessa teaches our Cookery classes. |

Claire Warner
Claire comes from an artistic family and developed a love of drawing
and painting from a very young age. Claire mainly paints in
watercolour but oils and acrylics increasingly feature in her
exhibitions. Her paintings have found their way into places of work
and recreation throughout the world. Claire specialises in
commissions, mainly of homes, boats and scenes, whilst holding
regular classes for all abilities at Treetops, in the Cotswolds and
Northamptonshire.Claire teaches our Watercolour classes. |

Sally Rossiter
Sally trained as a physiotherapist with a BSc honours degree and
then specialised in motion analysis, gaining a post graduate diploma
in biomechanics. Incredibly sporty, Sally currently works as a
personal trainer, freelance aerobics instructor and has recently
qualified as a swimming teacher teaching children from the ages
of 2-7.
Sally has also received
qualifications in Nutrition and Weight Management and Mat Based
Pilates.
Sally teaches our Pilates classes. |

Sarah Whitaker
Sarah is one of a small group of authorised Aga-Rayburn
demonstrators. She is well known for her relaxed style and
effortless recipes which she shows at Aga showrooms and private
homes all over the UK. Sarah also runs cookery demonstrations from
her home as well as making fabulous wedding cakes, one of which has
appeared in Hello! Magazine.Sarah teaches our AGA classes. |

Susanna Jarrett
Susanna started "Tiger Rose" in 1990 as a small flower shop in
Pimlico and spent time teaching at the Paula Pryke Flower
School. This was at a time when floral designers were challenging
conventional floristry and were bold enough to mix dark red roses
with blackberries in hand tied posies and fill tin pails with
cornflowers, cow parsley and buttercups.Now based in Hampshire,
Susanna and her team bring ground breaking floristry that is
exciting and memorable.

Debbie Hearn
Food writer Debbie Hearn founded the Big Little Fruit Campaign in
2005, to revive the fortunes of Britain's neglected culinary fruits.
She is a keen advocate for British and seasonal foods and drinks
with a special interest in fruit. In 2006 she judged the Tastiest
Apple at the National Fruit Show.
Debbie is the food advisor for
The
Country Channel, a web-based TV channel that also airs on Sky.
She also demonstrates at food festivals up and down the country. As
well as writing, she also takes part in radio and television
programmes, most recently Sweet Baby James with James Martin on BBC2
this year.

Jo Andreae
Jo trained in business and was an IT business analyst for blue chip
companies in the UK and abroad. In 1996 she fulfilled a life long
ambition to travel around the world which resulted in her forming
her own photographic business. She has since obtained Associateship
of the Royal Photographic Society.Jo has worked for various
companies and individuals including the Newbury Spring Festival,
Benchmark, the NHS Battle Hospital and Westminster School in London.
