A great
day with home cook Emily; we will go back to basics and
cover culinary skills, food hygiene, useful equipment
and what to keep in the cupboard and freezer. We will
talk about the best recipe books to take away to Uni,
and also where to buy equipment. A variety of recipes
will be cooked during the day with students sitting down
to enjoy them at the end of the class. We will cover
classics such as Shepherds Pie, Apple Crumble and Roast
Chicken, whilst talking about different cooking
techniques and cookery terms. There will be plenty of
opportunity to ask questions and get involved. Emily

Christmas Flowers |
Susanna will be demonstrating a variety of festive ideas
with the vast array of flowers and foliage that she
brings to Treetops. I love the smells at this class from
the eucalyptus, pine and cinnamon, it really gets you in
the festive spirit. There will also be tips on
conditioning and looking after your flowers. You will
then have time to create something to take home with
you, the class sizes are kept small so you will receive
plenty of help from Susanna, perhaps you will make a
beautiful wreath for your front door, or a candle
arrangement for inside your home. |

Beginners Photography
(over two days) |
The emphasis of the Beginners
Class is on the practical side, some theory will come
into the class but the class is primarily about seeing,
creating and taking photographs. You will take the
photographs on Day 1, get them developed and return on
Day 2 and learn from seeing each others photos which
aspects worked and which didn't. |
